The most storied of all the courses at PGA National, The Champ was the site of the the 1983 Ryder Cup, the 1987 PGA Championship, as well as the permanent home for the PGA Seniors' Championship from 1982-2000.
The course underwent a $4 million dollar renovation in December 2002. Created in partnership with Jack Nicklaus’ and the Nicklaus Design Team, and today features THE HONDA CLASSIC.
The Champ provides players with the finest playing surfaces available anywhere, and it leads PGA National’s line-up that ranks 68 th in Golfweek’s America’s Best Golf Resorts.
